Easter 2026 on the Kent Coast
Well, the secret is out. Easter on the Kent coast fills up fast — and this year we’re completely booked across all of our cottages. If you had your heart set on a long weekend by the sea this Easter, we’re sorry to disappoint. But here’s the thing. You’re clearly someone who plans ahead and that’s exactly the kind of person who gets the best of what we have to offer.
Don’t Worry -> Another Long Weekend is Just Around the Corner
May brings not one but two bank holiday weekends, and the Kent coast in May is genuinely special. The wildflowers are out on the beach edge of Kingsdown and the cliff fields of St Margaret’s Bay. Hut 55 beach yoga has returned for the season. The Betteshanger Easter Trail gives way to Pawfest on the 9th and 10th of May — one of the most loved events on the coast. The restaurant gardens are open, the days are getting longer and the sea is beginning to warm up. May half-term follows shortly after, and that fills up almost as quickly as Easter. If you’d like to be first in line for a May bank holiday weekend or May half-term, now is exactly the right time to look.
