The Dairy
ST MARGARETS AT CLIFFE

At the end of a long hedge-lined driveway, is another world: a warm, characterful cottage where horses graze beyond the windows and the White Cliffs are on your doorstep.
Sleeps 5 | 3 Bedrooms | 2 Bathrooms | Private Parking | Country Setting | Private Path to White Cliff Walks

Set within a beautifully converted barn on a private Kentish farm, The Dairy is one of five thoughtfully styled cottages tucked away in this serene, green corner of St Margaret’s-at-Cliffe. Travel down the long, hedge-lined driveway and you arrive at a farm with roots in the 1800s, once known as “Britain’s Frontline Farm”. No longer worked, it’s now lovingly restored and cared for by the same family who’ve held it for generations.

Warm and rustic, The Dairy is full of charm with exposed beams, brick walls and a soft farmhouse feel. The open-plan living area is made for coming together, with comfy sofas and a smart TV for evenings in, a fully equipped kitchen and a dining table for slow breakfasts and games after a day of exploring. The three bedrooms are peaceful and inviting, dressed in crisp white linen for restful nights under dark countryside skies. Beyond the windows, horses graze the fields and birdsong does the rest.  Beyond the lavender-edged door: there’s no private garden, but your front window looks over a manicured courtyard with your own outdoor seating, plus a covered communal barn for shared al fresco dining and private parking on site. A path leads straight into the woodland and on to the famous White Cliffs, with South Foreland Lighthouse and St Margaret’s Bay both a short walk away.
