A dedicated garden room adds another layer of calm,  ideal for reading, remote work, yoga, or simply taking a quiet moment away from it all.

Despite its sense of seclusion, Fig Tree Lane is wonderfully placed. The beach is just a three-minute stroll away, reached via a hidden bridleway that gives the house its name. Here you’ll find quiet waterfront spots for sea swimming, spring flowers edging the shore, and a beachside pub serving excellent food. From the doorstep, you can wander along the coast into Deal, or head the other way for white-cliff walks and open countryside treks.

Ground Floor: Front door.  Entranceway with seating and coat hooks leading to a hallway with doors to: Kitchen: Double over and grill, Smeg fridge/freezer and fully stocked cooking essentials including kitchen aid mixer, Le Creuset pots/pans and Falcon dishes and cups. Living Area:  Spacious open plan living room with two two seater vintage reupholstered Ligne Roset sofas, TV and French doors to the garden, leading to dining area with large dining table and reading nook with 2nd French doors to the garden.  Bedroom 1:  Super king-size bed, wardrobe and side tabes.  Bathroom:  Walk in monsoon shower, toilet and sink. Bedroom 2: Double bed, wardrobes and side tables.  Door to ensuite bathroom consisting of monsoon shower, toilet and sink. Garden:  South facing mature garden with outdoor sofa and chairs.  Summer Room:  Day bed, collapsable work station and workout area with Peloton bike.  Garage (Accessible via the garden):  Holding full size ping pong table and garden beanbags for guest use.  Parking:  Private parking for 2 cars. Note:  Cork flooring throughout meaning Fig Tree Lane is no shoe property.  All of our properties included linen and towels as standard.
The garden patio has a step down to the grass and the style of the patio means some uneven slabs.
