“We had the best stay at Seabreeze cottage!  We enjoyed coffees in the morning on the terrace while being able to see the children still tucked in the main bedroom. My personal favourite was the porthole window with the writing, which became our holiday saying! “The property was perfect for our family break, bedrooms were well laid out, even a little dolls house in one of the single rooms.   Kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfasts and an evening meal. “This house was beautiful. Had everything we thought we would need, and a few things we didn’t realize we needed until we got there. Beds were comfortable, the house was very clean and nicely appointed. All rooms in the front of the house have an ocean view, and with the windows open you get both the breeze and the sound of the ocean. The host was very responsive, and even gave us an advanced notice about an event where we ultimately met the King. Fantastic place, would love to stay here again, would give it 6 stars if I could.”

“This is a beautiful home, fantastic location right on the beach and 5 minutes walk to the high street. Super well equipped kitchen, lovely bedrooms and bathroom.   We had a wonderful time with morning swims, walk to Zetland Arms, brunch on the pier.  Sarah at Foreland Cottages was excellent, had to communicate on a few things and she was responsive and super helpful. ” We had such a lovely stay in the Barn cottage which is right near the White Cliffs of Dover!  There were three of us, plus a baby and a dog, and it was just perfect for a few relaxing days away.  The cottage was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed.  There wasn’t a garden, but there were brilliant dog walks right from the doorstep, and we loved seeing the horses on the farm — it really felt like we were connecting with nature. The setting was peaceful and quiet, yet still close to the cliffs and some beautiful spots to explore.  We left feeling relaxed and refreshed.”

The property was very well equipped to make one feel welcome and comfortable.   Everything is incredibly well thought out and the accommodation was perfect for us , our grown up children and beloved Labrador.  We especially enjoyed the fact that we could walk from the cottage to the Lighthouse at St Margaret’s on Cliff and enjoy the spectacular views ( and France!) .
