Magazine-Featured Holiday Cottage in Kingsdown, Kent.
Sleeps 4 | 2 bedrooms | 2 bathrooms | Private garden | Off-road parking for 2
Fig Tree Lane doesn’t announce itself. You turn off a quiet Kingsdown street, walk through the front door, and then it gets you. Designed by Sophie Rowell of Côte de Folk and featured in interior and lifestyle magazines, this is a cottage that has been genuinely thought about. Vibrant, characterful bedrooms. Calm coastal living spaces. A south-facing mature garden that becomes the heart of the stay the moment the sun appears. The beach is three minutes away via the secret bridleway that gives the cottage its name.
Kingsdown is one of the finest, and least discovered, villages on the Kent coast. The Zetland Arms sits practically on the shore. The coastal path to Deal and St Margaret’s Bay starts from practically the front door. And the whole place has a quality of quiet that is increasingly hard to find.
Ground Floor -> Open-plan living room with two vintage reupholstered Ligne Roset sofas, TV and French doors to the garden. Dining area with large table and reading nook with second set of French doors. Fully equipped kitchen. Bathroom with walk-in monsoon shower room.
