From the street, a quiet house in the pretty conservation-area. Inside, a light-filled retreat made for switching off, boasting those interiors, that garden and just a skip to the beach! The sitting room is the showstopper of the home. It is comfortable and cosy; cool during the Summer, warm during the Winter and simply flooded with light. It opens through to a unique garden room and the established garden beyond which is generously large for this part of Deal. In the Summer it boasts roses, and a sunny spot to enjoy morning coffee. In the Winter, it boasts an evergreen view and chance to watch the changing skies. A comfortable roomy dining room comes with a little guest library and is perfectly positioned in the heart of the house. The galley kitchen is fully equipped, and works well for anything from breakfast to evening meals. Both bedrooms – a king and a double – are quiet and very comfortable. There’s no television here, and that’s rather the point (who needs it when you are in this location!). What there is: WiFi when you need it, art at every turn, and an easel waiting for whoever feels the urge to paint, write, or simply sit and think. Beyond the door: The sea is one minute in one direction and independent cafés, shops and eateries and the conservation area’s prettiest streets are in the other. WingCo is for the guest who wants to recharge… to walk the beach, lose an afternoon to a book or a paintbrush, take inspiration in their surroundings to finish writing that chapter, or generally let the city fall away.

Ground Floor: Entrance to coat and boot store, door opening into Dining Room with dining table seating 4 and book library for guest use. Walkway leading to fully equipped galley Kitchen with microwave, oven, hob and necessary kitchen items. Walkway leading to stair and Sitting Room seating 4 across a sofa, an armchair and a large wooden chair. Books and light game selection. Doors to the Garden room with seating for two (perfect for morning coffee) and an easel for those seeking a space for creating outlet. Door leading to the Garden. Small courtyard with three steps to paved area with mature planting and room for seating (provided folded in the Winter months). Doors to small patio area and fully established planting. Stairs to first floor: Hallway with doors to Bathroom: Bath with over bath shower, toilet, basin and cupboard to washing machine (guest use permitted -washing powder required). Master bedroom: With king size bed, desk, chest of drawers, wardrobe, side table and views of the garden. Second bedroom: with double bed, bedside tables, cupboard and view of the conservation area street.

Anyone wanting to recharge. With its light-filled sitting room, an easel in the garden room and art at every turn, it’s a natural fit for the creatively inclined, especially those who want to paint, write or lose an afternoon to a book, as well as couples or small groups escaping the city for some peace and quiet.

Is WingCo suitable for families?
WingCo is designed as a peaceful, grown-up retreat but does welcome babies under 6 month and children over the age of 9. It sleeps four across a king-size master and a double second bedroom, making it ideally suited to couples, friends and adult families seeking a calm escape.

Is WingCo dog friendly?
No, WingCo does not currently invite paw guests.
