WEDDING ACCOMMODATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These additional Terms and Conditions apply to accommodation booked in connection with a wedding, civil partnership or related celebration. They should be read alongside our standard Booking Terms and Conditions.

Wedding-Related Bookings – All Foreland Cottages Properties:

  • All Foreland Cottages properties are provided exclusively as holiday accommodation. No property is permitted to be used as a wedding venue, reception venue or venue for wedding-related celebrations or event
  • Guests staying at any Foreland Cottages property while attending a wedding at a nearby venue must not use the accommodation or its grounds for pre-wedding or post-wedding parties, receptions, gatherings or other wedding-related celebrations.
  • The accommodation must not be used as an extension of the wedding venue, including for after-parties or gatherings once the wedding celebrations have ended.
  • All guests must comply with the property’s maximum occupancy, visitor restrictions, noise requirements and other house rules, as detailed in our standard Booking Terms and Conditions.
  • The lead booker is responsible for ensuring that all guests included within their booking comply with these conditions.

REACH COURT FARM – ADDITIONAL WEDDING ACCOMMODATION CONDITIONS

The following additional conditions apply where one or more of the five Reach Court Farm cottages are booked to accommodate wedding guests, family members or the primary wedding party attending a wedding at Reach Court Farm or another nearby wedding venue.  These conditions apply whether a cottage is booked independently or multiple cottages are reserved together under one lead booker.

Separation of the Wedding Venue and Holiday Accommodation:

  • The five Reach Court Farm cottages are managed by Foreland Cottages Ltd as holiday accommodation on behalf of their owner.
  • The Reach Court Farm wedding venue and its associated wedding and event operations are managed separately.
  • The wedding venue and the holiday cottages operate as separate businesses, with separate booking arrangements, contractual terms and responsibilities.
  • A booking for a wedding at Reach Court Farm does not automatically include or reserve any of the cottages, and a cottage booking does not grant access to the wedding venue or its facilities.
  • The cottages must not be used as an extension of the wedding venue or its celebrations, before, during or after the wedding.
  • Any permission granted by the wedding venue does not override the accommodation Terms and Conditions imposed by Foreland Cottages.

Individual Cottage Occupancy and Visitors:

  • Each of the five cottages is a separate holiday accommodation unit with its own maximum permitted occupancy and designated guests.
  • Only guests authorised to stay within the Reach Court Farm cottages may enter or use the accommodation and its private grounds, except where Foreland Cottages has provided prior written authorisation.
  • Guests staying in different Reach Court Farm cottages may visit one another for ordinary social purposes, provided the maximum occupancy of each cottage is never exceeded.
  • Cross-cottage visits must not develop into parties, organised gatherings, wedding preparations or other wedding-related celebrations.
  • Wedding attendees who are not staying in the Reach Court Farm cottages are not permitted to enter or use the cottages or their private grounds at any time without prior written authorisation.
  • These restrictions apply before, during and after the wedding, including during the day, overnight and on the morning following the event.

Wedding Preparations, Gatherings and Celebrations:

  • The cottages are provided solely as holiday accommodation and must not be used for wedding-related activities or entertaining.
  • No pre-wedding or post-wedding parties, drinks receptions, organised gatherings, barbecues, brunches or similar celebrations are permitted within the cottages or their grounds.
  • The cottages must not be used as an alternative venue for wedding activities after the wedding venue’s permitted event hours have ended.
  • Furniture, furnishings, bedding, kitchenware and other contents must not be moved between cottages.
  • Decorations, signage, flowers, lights or other items must not be attached to walls, ceilings, doors or furniture without prior written permission.
  • Confetti, glitter, sparklers, fireworks, candles and naked flames are prohibited within the cottages and their grounds.
  • Guests must comply with the standard property rules regarding noise, outdoor areas, cleanliness and waste disposal.

Multiple Cottage and Block Bookings:

  • Where multiple Reach Court Farm cottages are booked independently by different wedding guests, each lead booker remains responsible for their own reservation and the guests included within it.
  • Where one individual, including the bride, groom, family member or wedding organiser, reserves multiple cottages under a single booking on behalf of wedding guests, that individual is the lead booker and accepts contractual responsibility for all cottages included within their booking.
  • The lead booker must ensure all guests receive and understand these Terms and Conditions before arrival.
  • The lead booker is responsible for ensuring the maximum occupancy of each cottage is not exceeded and that all guests comply with the rules relating to visitors, gatherings, parking, noise, safety and property use.
  • Responsibility extends across every cottage included in the booking, irrespective of whether the lead booker personally occupies each property.
  • Booking multiple cottages, including all five, does not permit the cottages or their grounds to be combined for communal wedding activities or celebrations.

Reach Court Farm – Wedding Guest Parking:

  • Parking allocated to the cottages is reserved exclusively for guests staying in the relevant accommodation, subject to each cottage’s parking arrangements.
  • All other wedding attendees must use the designated wedding venue car park.
  • Cottage parking areas must not be used for wedding guest overflow parking, supplier parking or wedding-related vehicle movements without prior written authorisation.

Multiple Cottage Wedding Bookings – Additional Charge:

  • Where three or more Reach Court Farm cottages are reserved as part of the same coordinated wedding accommodation booking, an additional £50 group booking charge applies.
  • This is a single charge per qualifying group booking, regardless of whether three, four or all five cottages are reserved.
  • The charge contributes towards additional administration, housekeeping coordination and cleaning time associated with managing multiple cottages for wedding-related accommodation.
  • The charge will be included within the quoted wedding package prices or as a follow up (depending on booking route)
  • Payment of this charge does not permit additional visitors, gatherings or wedding-related activities, nor does it remove the requirement to leave each cottage clean and tidy.
  • Additional cleaning, laundry, waste removal or property reinstatement required as a result of a breach of these conditions may be charged separately, provided the costs are reasonable, evidenced and do not duplicate services covered by the £50 charge.

Breaches of Wedding Accommodation Terms and Conditions:

  • Where these conditions are breached, Foreland Cottages, acting on behalf of the property owner, reserves the right, subject to applicable law and the seriousness of the breach, to:

    • Require unauthorised visitors to leave or prohibited activities to cease;

    • Require the lead booker to take immediate action to resolve the breach;

    • Terminate the affected booking where a sufficiently serious or repeated breach justifies termination, with any refund determined in accordance with applicable law;

    • Recover reasonable and evidenced costs arising from additional cleaning, waste removal, property reinstatement, repair or replacement;

    • Notify the relevant wedding venue or property owner where necessary and appropriate to address a breach affecting their premises or operations;

    • Decline future bookings from individuals involved in serious or repeated breaches.

  • Any additional costs will be evidenced in writing and are payable within fourteen (14) days of invoice.
  • Guest Damage Protection is subject to the terms, limits and exclusions of the applicable policy. Costs arising from prohibited activities, additional cleaning or other breaches may not be covered and remain recoverable from the lead booker where legally permitted.

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions:

  • These additional Wedding Accommodation Terms and Conditions form part of Foreland Cottages’ standard Booking Terms and Conditions.
  • The lead booker is responsible for ensuring that all guests included within their reservation are aware of and comply with the applicable conditions.
  • Nothing in these conditions affects guests’ statutory consumer rights.
