May brings not one but two bank holiday weekends (lucky us), and the Kent coast in May is genuinely special. The wildflowers are out on the beach edge of Kingsdown and the cliff fields of St Margaret’s Bay. Hut 55 beach yoga has returned for the season. The restaurant gardens are open, the days are getting longer and the sea is beginning to warm up. May half-term fills quickly because it is blessed with one of those lovely Monday bank holidays, so if you’d like to be first in line for the late May bank holiday weekend or May half-term, now is exactly the right time to book.
